PreDetox Day with Ahlaam Ali

With Ramadan and Self Isolation, I have decided to use this week to detox my body, my brain and my life.
Since  I work one on one with my weight loss members and am in the process of writing my second book, this  means I only talk to people that make me feel good .

As for the mental detox, I decided not to watch the news anymore  and read some good books and meditate.  And of course I work out daily!!

Also most important part of this Detox week is this!  When you wake up make sure you send out gratitude to the Universe for:

1.  Being alive

2.  Being Healthy

3.  Having a roof over your head

4.  Having food on your table

5.  Having your family with you

Add any more that you need to here…
So today I went shopping for all the ingredients.  I made sure I picked up a whole range of fruits and veggies of different colours.  The brighter and the more the better.  

Here is a list of items you should ideally get to give you some amazing juices!

  • Baby Spinach
  • Celery
  • Cucumber
  • Green Chilli
  • Green capsicum
  • Bitter Gourd shot (optional)
  • Kale
  • Basil
  • Avocado
  • Broccoli
  • Sunflower seedsGinger
  • Turmeric
  • Beetroot
  • Berries all three
  • Red capsicum
  • Red cabbage
  • Oranges
  • Orange capsicum
  • Carrots
  • Mandarin
  • Flaxseed
  • Orange juice

Any other ingredients that you fancy in your juices, this is the time to add them on.
Now sit back and enjoy the health benefits of these fabulous juices
Note:  Avoid all sugar, gluten, dairy and processed foods during this detox phase
