What are the benefits of a Minimalist beauty routine?
In my opinion, minimalist beauty would be achieving one’s goal with the use of simple tools, makeup and so the final result would be enhancing one’s natural beauty, not overwriting it. A few years ago, I got my beauty routine down to a minimum and It’s one of my favourite areas I’ve simplified as that’s often where I start my day. It’s amazing to look back now and see how many products I kept — thinking I needed them.
Tips on a minimalist routine from Neelam.
After getting comfortable with my minimalist beauty routine, I began replacing products (as needed) with the ones I frequently reached for. I would say that using a minimum of multipurpose and clean products would be at the heart of minimalist beauty. Also, I noticed a great difference in the appearance of my skin with using the same ingredients over time.
My current routine includes products like TATCHA The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser – with natural fruit exfoliant that thoroughly but gently lifts impurities and unclogs pores while leaving skin soft and hydrated. I follow it with Pixi Beauty Rose Tonic toner which helps to tone, balance pH, minimize redness and calm skin.
